PRODUCT DETAILS
Product Introduction

"Galvanized steel sheet with zero spangles" refers to steel sheets galvanized by hot-dip galvanizing.

During the cooling and crystallization process of the metal zinc that is hot-dip plated on the steel plate, the molecules are arranged according to certain rules to form spangles. Large spangles are called spangles; small spangles are called non-spangles.

Normal spangles (small spangles, large spangles, and no spangles) hot-dip galvanized steel strips (plates) are hot-dip galvanized steel strips (plates) that are hot-dip galvanized under the condition that the zinc solution contains antimony or lead. During the solidification process, zinc grains grow freely to form a coated plate with obvious spangle appearance. The normal spangle galvanized sheet is mainly used in a bare manner, and the galvanized sheet with spangle and the galvanized sheet without spangle are only different in appearance, and there is no difference in quality.

Therefore, the use of hot-dip galvanized steel strips (plates) is the same for small spangles, large spangles, and no spangles.

Application

A large number of galvanized steel sheet with zero spangles are used in the automotive industry, in refrigerators, in the construction industry, in ventilation and heating installations, and in furniture manufacturing. Galvanizing has become an important anti-corrosion method for steel, not only because zinc can form a dense protective layer on the surface of steel, but also because zinc has a cathodic protection effect. When the galvanized layer is damaged, it can still prevent iron mothers from material corrosion.

Process

Galvanized steel sheet with zero spangles is because spangle-promoting elements are added to the zinc liquid, and the zinc layer does not form spangles when it solidifies, and the surface is smooth and smooth, so it is called a spangle-free product. Its main advantages are superior corrosion resistance and better coating performance.
